I was Team Jeremiah throughout all of Seasons 1 and 2 but honestly after everything that’s happened so far, I might be Team No One now. Not even Team Steven.

The young adult drama continues to explore the love triangle between Belly and her two childhood friends. Now, Belly is heading to college the same school where her best friend Taylor and Jeremiah also attend. She’s been with Jeremiah for four years, but cracks are definitely starting to show. Meanwhile, Taylor and Steven’s relationship remains rocky, and Conrad is off in medical school trying to focus on his future.
Season 3 already feels like a wild ride with only two episodes out, fans are deep in their feelings and the debates have already started.

One moment that really threw me was at the end of Episode 2. Belly is outside the hospital, forgives Jeremiah for what she thought was cheating (though they were technically on a one-week break). He promises it won’t happen again and then, out of nowhere, asks her to marry him and she says yes!
There’s no ring, no getting down on one knee just a quick, unexpected proposal. What?
Book readers probably knew it was coming, but for non-book fans, it felt rushed and I feel like he was only doing it to cover his guilt. Still, Jenny Han has said she’s making changes this season, so maybe we’ll get more context later.
Also, can we talk about how everyone in this series cheats? Steven cheated on Mia with Taylor. Taylor cheated on her boyfriend with Steven and back in Season 1, Conrad wasn’t exactly loyal to Belly either. No wonder it’s hard to root for anyone!

Jenny Han mentioned in a recent interview that whether Jeremiah truly cheated is still “up for debate.” Despite all the drama, I’m still excited to see how the season plays out.
The characters are messy, emotional, and painfully real and maybe that’s why this show keeps us coming back.
So, where do you stand? Team Jeremiah? Team Conrad? Or have you jumped ship like me?
