Tom Felton is back reprising his iconic role as the dastardly Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Its true to say that millions of fans across the world will want to see the Broadway show.
A seat at the show will be the hottest ticket in New York.
He is following in the footsteps of his fellow castmate Daniel Radcliffe in going on Broadway, albeit the Harry Potter actor wasn’t in anything Potter related. Maybe Tom will get a Tony just like Daniel did.
I reckon fans will be “shipping them again,” especially as they will be both New York residents for a while.
In a recent interview Tom got asked which Hogwarts house he would personally choose to be in. He stated “Slytherin all the way.” I just think that it is a brilliant answer and very apt.
He also explained that his three older older brothers did the sorting hat test and were put in Hufflepuff.

Jason Isaacs (who played Draco Malfoy’s onscreen father Lucius in the film adaptations) has supported his decision to return to the world of Harry Potter, as has his original classmates, who he has revealed have offered unwavering support.
In fact, Jason was very excited revealing he had booked tickets to see his young co-star/son for when The Cursed Child opens in November this year.
Tom Felton got asked about if JK Rowling LGBTQ+ views impacted him at all or has impacted his work in the world of HP. He gave a clever answer and said “No, I can’t say that it does. I’m not really attuned to it.”
“The only thing I always remind myself is that I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world … I have not seen anything bring the world together more than Potter. She’s responsible for that, so I’m incredibly grateful.”
Regular Potter supporters are praising Felton for his response; however, some Potter fans are accusing him of privilege and “actively ignoring the lives of queer people that are being endangered by Rowling’s views.”
I tend to agree with the regular supporting fans, and I don’t think he is actively ignoring it he just wants to concentrate on those aspects of the franchise that bring people together.
With the return to the part of Draco in the theatre for Tom Felton, there remains another intriguing question, which is will Felton and others from the original cast make cameos in the upcoming HBO reimagining of the wizarding universe?
I am in two minds whether it should happen or not.
Either way, it’s time for me to start saving money to get to Broadway and get a front row ticket.
