This week, there has been no shortage of drama. One juror was removed for giving inconsistent answers about where he lives.
On another day, court was adjourned because another juror fell ill and was reported to be experiencing vertigo symptoms!!
I feel this trial has dragged on longer than it needed to. The prosecution could have made its case punchier and more effective.

Kristina Khorram also known to prosecutors as Diddy’s co-conspirator still hasn’t taken the stand, which I find baffling. Her lawyers claim she can’t testify until the criminal case concludes. She hasn’t been charged with anything, so couldn’t they just subpoena her tomorrow?
In my opinion, the prosecution didn’t need two summary witnesses, and I didn’t find Brendan Paul particularly effective on Friday.

Paul supplied Sean Combs with substances for Combs’ personal use — but is that enough to qualify as part of a criminal enterprise? However, since he was transporting substances to Diddy, does that fall under RICO? I’m not a lawyer, but it seems like it could go either way.
I don’t believe Paul was the “substance mogul” that some people made him out to be for the past 15 months. Yes, he admitted to acquiring substances for Diddy, but it seemed to be on a more personal level than part of a broader operation.

Marc Agnifilo said that if the government rests on Monday, the defence will rest on Tuesday or Wednesday. Huh? Do they not have any witnesses? They only have two days. Other reports are saying Diddy won’t testify — but now, it seems like he might have to. Who else do they have to help his case?
This doesn’t look good for the defence. Maybe they’re relying on the idea that it’s the prosecution’s job to make the case and they don’t have to. Still, their strategy is confusing. Just a few days ago, they said they’d need 4–5 days, which led me to expect a more robust defence.
I do think the prosecution has made a case for the criminal charge of coercion and some of the RICO charges, but I doubt he’ll end up with a life sentence.
Honestly, I think the prosecution would have had a stronger case if they had focused more on domestic violence and similar charges. As it stands, it’s hard to see exactly what they’re trying to prove.
